Through
Combuilder's extensive network in China, Combuilder has identified
strong interest in China in learning more about Singapore's FM experience.
Since October 2002, Combuilder has been operating an Executive Introduction
to Facilities Management in Singapore to senior executives from China.
The Chinese executives are flown into Singapore for an executive course

of December 2002, some 65 senior executives from government (including
executives from Ministry of Construction, academia (including Shenyang
Architectural and Civil Engineering University) and private enterprises
have already attended the course. Driven by the continuing interests
from the China parties, discussions are currently underway with various
FM service providers and certification bodies to expand the education,
both in location (courses in China), and scope (from executives to
skills certification for workers). |

Combuilder also provides IT training for both technical and non-technical
professionals in the Property and Facilities Management industry.
Examples include the training of term contractors for the Town Councils
in the use of wireless devices and bar-code scanning devices. |
